Pop made it very interesting at the end, winning three weeks in a row, and going 12-4 in the final week, but Zane squeaked out the overall season win by 0.5% or just two wins.
Mike squeaked out third by 0.1% over Chris and Clarke, while Special K, who faded like cheap paint down the stretch ended up in 5th.
In the asterisk column, it should be noted that Pete’s winning percentage would have narrowly put him in third place. Alas, the powers that be deemed his participation too low to allow official placement.
Final results and may Keanu be with you…
Rock rocked it hard in week 16, reminiscent of Keanu Reeves back in his Dogstar days (circa 1995 in Japan)…
With his ten wins, Rock not only claimed the week 16 title, he moved within striking distance of Zane for the overall season title. A 4 game swing in the final week would do it.
The bronze medal position remains hotly contested as well, with Chris and Clarke currently leading Mike and a fading down the stretch Special K.

Our fearless season-long leaders went into freefall in week 15, naturally reminding us of the time that time Keanu Reeves went to hell with his buddy Bill in 1991’s and defeated death in an epic 4 out of 7 duel…
Four wins, unfortunately, was more than Kris could muster and Zane didn’t do much better with 5. Meanwhile, Rock took advantage to win the week in the tiebreaker (over Chris and Clarke) and jumped up to 2nd place overall (Peter’s 55% must rank an asterisk based on infrequent participation).
Will Zane hold on to the season or will that bitch, regression to the mean, wreak havoc once more and let Rock come all the way back from the dead?
Stay tuned…and keep an eye out for Keanu Reeves (and Death) in Bill and Ted 3 this summer (honest!).
Taking a cue from Keanu Reeves’ Bill and Ted’s Excellent adventure cereal commercial above, Zane was once again most triumphant in Week 14, padding his overall season lead.
With but three weeks remaining in the regular season, it seems unlikely that Zane will be caught. But stranger things have happened. Like Keanu Reeves becoming a movie star.
