Zane continued the miraculous resurrection of his season with a stunning 10-2 week that was a half-point and a late Chargers choke away from being a perfect 12-0.

And with Peter’s equally unimpressive 2-10 week, Zane departed his long-time season standings cellar digs, an event that just a few weeks ago seemed all but impossible.

As for the top of the heap, Kris sucked wind a bit less in week 11 than the suddenly struggling C&C, resulting in her assuming the overall lead.

In the category of you can’t believe everything you read on a t-shirt, our little football betting world was turned on its head in week 10. While C&C flamed, Zane soared, riding a late Giants comeback win on Monday night to eke out a narrow win over Pete.

Zane’s big week catapults him, uh, moves him within striking distance of next to la–, um, well,  makes him feel better about himself!!

Because of C&C’s weak week, Special K moved back into a tie for the overall lead.

In week 9, team C&C continued their recent tear, claiming another weekly win, though only with a meager 7 wins.

The duo now is alone atop the pack and has won or tied 6 out of the 9 weeks contested.

Mike had a notable week in that he lost all 7 early games and then managed to win all 5 late games including Monday night. Go figure.

In week 8, our favorite duet team, C&C, squeaked out a narrow win over both Rock, and yes, Zane.

As a result, C&C are now tied for the overall percentage lead with Special K, and dominating on the weekly win front.

Given the unrivaled success of the team approach this year, Zane is reportedly looking to land a significant other to enhance his chances. We’ll see.
