Well, it was close, but week 16 ended with Zane losing another one in the tie-breaker, this time to the Commish.
Relative to the overall results, Claire’s weak week did bring her back to the pack a bit, but it will take a huge final week from Pop or Special K to catch her. And though C&C find themselves in the cellar this week, the full season hall of shame is still up for grabs with Zane and the Commish lurking nearby.

Journey with me back to a time far, far ago, a time where holiday music still ruled the airwaves and seventy degree temperatures abounded; a time some might refer to as…week 15.
Here are LAST week’s results. Sorry for the delay.
As for the weekly title, it was Pop once more (PopPop?), nosing out Zane on points (after Zane picked against the Lions on MNF). Overall, however, Claire kept comfortable distance (as teenagers are apt to do).
In the battle to see who will be relegated to a lesser family pool next year, Zane continues to blaze the bottom, but the Commish and C&C are clearly in striking distance.

First of all, let me clarify that — as was highly publicly pointed out — this was in fact week 14 and not 15. Though the way my dear mistake-pointer-outer has performed this year, you might think he’d be hoping for as quick an end to the season as possible.
But let us not let such petty sniping detract from Pop’s (not to be confused with Pops) big 11 win week which was enough to break the Todaro logjam atop the cumulative results by hundredths of a decimal point.
Claire remains comfortably ahead but with her relatively low total number of games picked, a bad few final weeks could rudely return her to reality (not that we would generally wish such thing).

Well we’ve certainly heard of women synchronizing movements and even hormonal progressions, but synchronous football picking dominance is undoubtedly an emergent concept.
Both Claire and Special K racked up 13 big wins last week and were declared co-champions after the Commish realized his wonderful updated app allows for the solicitation of tiebreaker points but does not actually store the information anywhere. (Please revert to posting tiebreaker points in the comments area until this issue is resolved).
As you might imagine, such big win totals shook up the overall standings. Claire sits atop the heap with a highly statistically aberrant winning percentage of 60% for the season. Special K also has rocketed up the charts like a new T-Swift single and is now vying for second.
Ah, but beware Todaro women, chance is a fickle bitch.
