The Ravens came through and lost by only 8 on Monday night propelling the Commish to the Week 7 win and into a tie with Pop for the overall lead.
By continuing to not play, Claire, has successfully moved out of last and is now closing in on her mother!

In subtle homage to Rock and Maryann’s heading south last week, our collective football picking performances followed suit.
Rock took the week and the overall lead on the strength of his 7 big wins.
Claire’s strategy not to participate after week 1 and let the others fail and fall back is looking increasingly smart.

Sorry for the delay in reporting Kris’ big week 5 victory, pulling it out in the tiebreaker by picking the exact number of points (44). The fact that K won the week despite only picking 6 out of 13 games correctly should by no means detract from the unbridled joy she is experiencing now. (My search for images of unbridled joy strangely turned up this image. No clue what it is.)

In light of the Lions soul crushing loss, the Commish takes little solace in beating out Zane for the weekly win on tiebreaker points. Well, maybe, some solace 🙂

Based on (blatantly false) promises of a lifetime supply of chocolate to this year’s winner, participation was dramatically enhanced this week. (Pictured is Prestat of Piccadilly chocolate, the supposed inspiration for Willy Wonka)
Alas, in the end, it was Zane who once more bested the bunch, thanks to the Packers Monday night win.
