Why am I being subjected to a blog?

As the Commish needed to master WordPress as part of his on-going EdTech based professional reinvention, the reporting of results and associated communications with this not always so friendly family pigskin prognostication competition will now take the form of a blog.

This transition would have occurred sooner, but previous needs to cater to lowest common technological denominators –namely Pop Pennella’s last century Dell (or was it a Commodore 64?) have been rectified.

While I know all change is inevitably met with some trepidation (with the exception of the sacking of Lions General Manager Matt Millen), this transition should be relatively painless.  Apologies in advance for any gratuitous use of cool features for the sake of experimentation.

As this blog leverages a responsive web design format, it should be equally approachable from the full gamut of handheld and desktop devices now being sported by pool participants including that small home theater that Kris is toting about in that Legally Blonde inspired travel case.  (I believe the rule is never eat anything larger than your own head and never carry a phone that requires two hands to hold).

As an added benefit, all the brilliant editorializing, sniping and witty retorting historically associated with this undertaking will now be captured for posterity’s sake.  I have gone back in time and captured select email comments and associated them with the appropriate week.

Yours in faithful (if self-appointed) duty —
The Commish

Cool! Week 1 results, with the oh-so-hip Glossary, is still my fave. Great job, commish.
