Zane got his groove back and took week 14 by going back to what worked in the past – trusting opinions other than his own. While Zane dominates the weekly wins category, he also dominates the weekly weaks category, having bottomed out seven of the fourteen weeks. As such, he continues to trail both Kris and Pop, respectively, in the overall race.
After owning or sharing the lead for all twelve weeks, week 13 was unlucky for Zane indeed, as he tumbled all the way into a tie for third with the lowly Commish. Kris is your new percentage leader, as well as your week 13 victor.
Will Zane curry favor with the football betting gods once more, or shall he wile away his remaining weeks in pigskin picking purgatory? Only time shall tell.
While some might argue that anyone who picked the Jets doesn’t deserve to win, the Commish pulled out a second week in the row, winning the Monday night tiebreaker over Pop. And while some will argue that the Commish’s resurgence is purely a function of his decision to start awarding himself 1.25 wins for every actual win, this is but sour grapes.

Believe it or not, everyone actually had a chance to win leading up to Monday night despite the morass of mediocrity. To explain all the tie-breaking permutations, however, would have used up my quota of published words for the week. Thankfully, the tiebreaker never came into play as the Titans managed to cover on Monday night, giving third-person Mike the week 11 win.

With a chance to pull out the weekly win, the Commish had to put his faith in a quarterback. His choices: the infamous butt fumbler, Mark Sanchez, or the man who introduced second hand sweat into the popular vernacular (aka Cam Newton’s mom’s favorite player (i.e., Cam Newton)). Naturally, the Commish opted for the Madison Avenue maven. Alas, Cam and his Panther pals got the Gatorade beat out of them 45-21, handing the week 10 title to Pop.
